Our history and what we do
Our story began in 2000 in Podujeva, Kosovo, with the founding of Durmishi Plast. From a small local business, the company has grown into one with a regional reach, serving the construction sector through the manufacturing, processing and installation of doors, windows and facade systems.
Along the way, the company has gone through several stages of development: from Durmishi Plast to Durmishi SH.P.K., then to D Group International and the creation of the specialised FLEXD brand.

2000
Durmishi Plast is founded
Durmishi Plast was founded in Podujeva, marking the start of our work in the construction sector. This is where the foundations of the business were laid and where the professional experience on which the company has grown over the years began to take shape.

Renamed Durmishi SH.P.K.
In 2010 the company continued its work under the name Durmishi SH.P.K. The change preserved the continuity of the business founded in 2000 and marked the next stage in its development.

Becoming D Group International
In 2020 the company took the name D Group International, reflecting the growth and expansion of its activity. The name stood for the development of the business beyond its local beginnings and its orientation towards a wider presence in the regional market.

Organisation into sectors and the creation of FLEXD
In 2022 D Group International reorganised its activity into specialised sectors. As part of this organisation FLEXD was created, the brand dedicated to the manufacturing, processing and installation of doors, windows and facade systems.
FLEXD carries on the experience and work begun by Durmishi Plast, as part of the D Group International structure.
What FLEXD does
FLEXD specialises in the manufacturing, processing and installation of aluminium and PVC doors and windows, as well as in glass facades and ventilated facades.
Our work brings together the selection of materials, the processing of profiles, manufacturing and final installation. At every stage, attention is focused on precision of workmanship, functionality and compliance with the technical and architectural requirements of the project.
Our team is made up of professionals with experience in their respective fields, committed to delivering quality products and reliable service.
Systems, materials and components
For aluminium doors and windows we use systems and profiles from Reynaers Aluminium, ELVIAL and ALUMINCO, selected according to the needs and specifications of each project.
For the operation and locking of doors and windows we use MACO hardware, and for doors we also use Dr. Hahn hinges, depending on compatibility and system requirements. These are complemented by selected premium-category accessories and components.
The choice of materials and the care taken in processing aim to combine durability, security and reliable operation with thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and contemporary design.
With the experience built up since 2000, FLEXD continues the story of Durmishi Plast within D Group International, keeping product quality and responsibility towards the client at the centre of its work.
